About

Hi, we are the Loucks family, missionary candidates to Paraguay, South America sent out by Grace Baptist Church of Kennewick, WA in partnership with Adelphos-USA.

My name is Jared Loucks.  I was blessed to having been born and raised in a Christian home.  As a family we were in church every time the doors were open and I am so thankful for that demonstration of faithfulness to God.  Through the testimony of my parents and many faithful members of Grace Baptist Church I received the free gift of salvation at the age of five.  The following year I was baptized as a demonstration of my faith in Jesus and added to the local body.  Throughout my youth I wondered what the Lord would use me to do and that was answered in 2005 while serving on a two week mission trip to Paraguay.  God used this time in my life to show that I too could serve Christ on the foreign field, I just must be willing to be used.  At that point I sought to further my education at Faith Baptist Bible College of Ankeny, Iowa where I met my amazing wife Kathleen.

Kathleen was also raised in a Christian home who sought to serve Christ in the church regularly.  Through the testimony of people in her life she came to know the Lord as her Savior at the age of 14, having come to the understanding that God does not have grandchildren but that she too needed to be adopted into the family of God.  Having received the gift of Jesus she was then baptized at Grace Baptist Church of Plover, Wisconsin.  She grew up loving stories of missionaries and that drew her to serving on several missions’ teams in Jamaica, Mexico and even some state side ministries.  Through that she was led to follow the Lord to Faith Baptist Bible College with a goal of serving in full-time missionary service.

Kathleen and I graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College in May of 2010 and that October we were married and began serving in the local church together at Grace Baptist Church of Kennewick, WA.  It was here that we began to take every opportunity of service we could in order to learn what ministry really looked like.  I have had the blessed opportunity to serve as a teacher of many different age ranges, partnered with the missionary leadership team, serving as deacon and pulpit supply at Grace and other area churches as the Lord has permitted.

We are delighted to be called by Grace Baptist Church to full-time missionary service and pray that you will join us in the missionary adventure!

Jaha Paraguay Pe! (let’s go to Paraguay)
