We believe…• He is a Divine Person of the same nature as Father and Son. • He was active in Creation. • He convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment. (John 16:8-11)• With believers, He…1. Is the agent of our new birth. (John 3:5-6)2. Seals. (Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 1:13)3. Endues.4. Guides. (Romans 8:14)5. Teaches (John 16:13)6. Witnesses (Romans 8:16)7. Sanctifies8. Helps9. Intercedes (Romans 8:26-27)• He baptized the Church at Pentecost and all believers were represented there. (Ephesians 4:5)• We seek not another “Baptism of the Spirit,” thusly; we believe that the gift of tongues is not for our present age.
We believe in his personality…• That he is the unholy god of this age. • That he is destined to the just punishment of the Lake of Fire.• He is a created being, thus subject to God.
Matthew 4:1-3; II Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10
We believe…• In the Genesis account of creation.• The teaching of evolution should be rejected.

Genesis 3:1-6; Romans 1:18-31; Romans 5:10-19
We believe…• Jesus was begotten of the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin, Mary.• No one else was ever born, nor will be born, in that manner.• As such, Jesus is both the Son of God, and God, the Son.
Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:35; John 1:4
We believe…• That the salvation of sinners is solely of grace.• That Jesus Christ:1. Was given of the Father to be man’s mediator, sacrifice.2. Took upon Him the nature of man without sin.3. Died to make full/vicarious atonement for our sin.4. Was resurrected from the dead.5. Ascended into heaven after His death, burial, and resurrection.6. Is in every way qualified, suitable, and all-sufficient Savior.
Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 3:24-25; John 3:16; Isaiah 53:4-7; I Corinthians 15:3
We believe…• To be saved, sinners must be born again.• This new birth is accepting Jesus Christ as Savior.• It is instantaneous.• In the new birth one receives eternal life, God’s free gift.• This new birth is brought about by the power of the Holy Spirit using the Word of God.• Evidences of a new birth are a holy life, producing spiritual fruit – repentance, faith, and newness of life.
John 3:3; John 3:6-8; Acts 16:30-33; Romans 6:23; II Corinthians 5:17; Colossians 2:13
We believe…• Justification includes: pardon of sin, the gift of eternal life, a life of righteousness.• Justification is not bestowed because of any merit, solely through faith in the Redeemer’s shed blood.• Christ’s righteousness is imputed to us.
Acts 13:39; Isaiah 53:11; Zechariah 13:1; Romans 5:1, 9; Romans 8:1; II Corinthians 5:21
We believe…• Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition of salvation.

Philippians 1:6; John 10:27-30; Romans 8:35-39
We believe…• It is an assembly of immersed believers. • It is associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel. • In observing the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. • Its officers are pastors and deacons. • Its mission is witnessing of Christ to the unsaved, training the saved, and offering fellowship amongst believers. • It is accountable only to Christ, sovereign in its doings. • It can cooperate with churches of like faith. • Christ’s will for the Church is final.
Acts 2:41-42; 15:13-18; 20:17-28; I Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 4:11
OF BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER
We believe…• Baptism is by singular immersion in water, showing symbolically that we have been saved and have accepted our Savior’s death, burial, and resurrection; showing symbolically our death to sin and resurrection to new life. • Baptism precedes Church membership.• The Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of Jesus’ death till He comes. It should be preceded by self-examination.• Neither of these ordinances are necessary requirements to be saved.

OF THE RESURRECTION, PERSONAL, VISIBLE, PREMILLENIAL RETURN OF CHRIST AND RELATED EVENTS
We believe…• In the bodily resurrection of Christ. (Matthew 28:6-7; 1 Corinthians 15:4).• In the ascension of Christ. (Acts 1:9-11; Luke 24:51; Hebrews 2:17; Revelation 3:21)• In the high priesthood of Christ. (Hebrews 8:6; I Timothy 2:5; I John 2:1; Hebrews 2:17)• In the second coming of Christ. (John 14:3; Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:16; Hebrews 9:28)• In the resurrection of the righteous dead. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Corinthians 15:42-44; I Corinthians 15:52) • In the pre-tribulation, pre-millennial return of Christ. (I Corinthians 15:51-53; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Philippians 3:20-21) • In the throne of David. (Luke 1:32; Isaiah 9:6-7; Acts 2:29-30)• In the Millennial reign of Christ. OF THE FAMILY, MARRIAGE, AND THE SANCTITY OF LIFE
We believe…• Marriage between a man and woman is the plan of God and sacred in His sight. (Genesis 2:18-25; Matthew 19:3-9; Ephesians 5:18-32; I Timothy 3:4, 5, 12; Malachi 2:13, 14, 16)• The roles of husband, wife, and child are clearly defined in Scripture. (Ephesians 5:21-32; Colossians 3:16-21; I Peter 3:1-7) • The sexual relationship is sacred between a man and a woman and is to be fulfilled only within the bonds of marriage, and is condemned outside the marriage relationship. Further, adultery, fornication, and homosexuality are sins against God. (Genesis 2:24; 19:5, 13; 26:8, 9; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; I Corinthians 5:1; 6:9; 7:3-4; Hebrews 13:14) Therefore, we will not participate in any activity that would compel us to bless, sanction, or treat as equivalent any unbiblical sexual partnership. • Children are a blessing of God and the responsibility for their nurturing and maturing, emotionally and spiritually, rests upon the parent and they are to be brought up in a loving structure and conscientious instruction in the truths of God and His principles of life found in His Word. (Psalm 127:3; Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Psalm 78:4-7; Proverbs 17:6; 22:6) • Human life begins at conception and only God has the authority to begin and end life. The unborn child is a living human being and abortion constitutes the unjustified taking of a human life. (Job 3:16; Psalm 51:5; Isaiah 44:24; 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5)
